Photography is not what I do. It is who I am.

It started in Ecuador. I was nine years old, my mother's camera in my hands, my brother riding a wave. I pressed the button. Something inside me never came back from that moment.

I have been chasing that feeling ever since.

I spent years learning to see before I ever learned the rules. By the time I arrived in the United States, I understood something fundamental about photography: presence is everything. The camera is simply the instrument.

The moments that define a family are never the ones they planned for. They happen in the space between. In a glance across a room. In the way a father steadies himself before he walks his daughter down the aisle. In the quiet pride on a mother's face when her child stands on the bimah and the whole world shrinks to that one extraordinary moment.

I do not photograph events. I document the human experience at its most beautiful.

Over twenty years. Hundreds of celebrations across South Florida and the USA. I have been trusted with mornings that felt sacred and dance floors that felt like pure liberation. I have been in rooms where the love was so present you could feel it before you raised the camera.

My approach is simple. I become part of your day, not an observer of it. I move quietly, feel deeply, and wait patiently for the real story to reveal itself. Every family has a moment that belongs only to them. My job is to find it before it disappears.

After more than twenty years, I still arrive at every celebration with the same feeling I had on that beach in Ecuador. Wondering what I am about to witness. Grateful that I get to be there. Ready for everything.
